Trials of Life

1 Corinthians 10:13

No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it

Everyone has trials in life. There are times when things seem overwhelming. You ask yourself  “Why is this happening to me?”. You don’t know why it all happened, but now you have to deal with it.

In this passage, God is telling you that you don’t have to go through it alone. God is faithful and will be there for you. There is nothing that you can’t handle as long as you keep God in the equation.

The trials in our lives are caused by us alone – no trials come to you but what is human as the Scripture tells us. We as humans make mistakes daily and those mistakes create our trials. God allows us to go through hard times in order to come to Him and surrender to His will for our lives. He will be there to give us the strength to endure our trials. God will not make our lives easy and carefree. We need these trials in our lives to help us to realize that we can do nothing without God.

I have recently gone through a trying time in my life. At first, I was upset and anxious and worried. Then, I just gave it all to God. Now, although I am still dealing with the aftermath of my trials, I am able to handle it because I know in my heart that everything will work out just the way God plans it.

Allow God to help you shoulder the load – invite Him into your life and ask Him to give you the strength you need to endure all trials.
