The Weak Shall Be Made Strong

Isaiah 40: 28-31

Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:   But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

How many times in your life have you just said ” That’s it! I can’t take it anymore! I am so tired!”. I know I have felt like this many times. But, in this passage, you see that God never tires. He is always there for us. He is there to give us strength and lift us up when we are most weary.

Even though we as humans fail all the time, God is still there to help us. He is there to make us soar like eagles and run the good race swiftly. God wants nothing more than to see us in Paradise someday. God wants us to be with Him now and forever.

So, the next time you are just worn out, remember that God is there to give you His strength and to help you to carry on and do things according to His will. Don’t try so hard – just invite God into your life and let Him do all the heavy lifting. God has enough strength to carry whatever burdens us. He can move mountains and make the seas rise and fall. Don’t you think He can help us too?

Let God make you strong by admitting to Him that you are weak. He shall renew your spirit and you will rise to be the person that God intended you to be.
