I am a fifty -something from south Jersey who loves to write. I am also a regular blogger on Mets Fans Forever.  I also teach 2nd grade religious education at Our Lady of Peace parish in Williamstown, New Jersey. I really enjoy it but it’s a lot of work!

I am a “cradle Catholic” who fell away from the Church for about 20 years. I recently came back in 2005 when Blessed John Paul II was in his final days. Something drew me back – that something was God. I may have given up on my faith, but He didn’t give up on me!  I embrace my Catholic faith now and truly appreciate everything it has to offer.

My favorite Scripture passage is ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

I am not a scholar nor in religious life. I am just a regular person who enjoys the Scriptures and feels called to write about it. I hope you enjoy my posts and I look forward to your posts as well
